Brown’s Rapp murder trial may go on the road

Virginia Department of Corrections (DOC) officers said Thursday it takes about three hours to drive from the Lunenburg Correctional Center in Victoria to the Rappahannock County Courthouse in Washington whenever murder suspect Chester Brown had a court hearing.

Based on what Judge Designate Robert J. Smith of Fairfax County said Thursday morning in circuit court, DOC’s travel time might be increased.
