(Story Co.) A pedestrian was injured Thursday morning in a collision on Duff Avenue in Ames, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
The accident occurred at approximately 4:14 a.m. in the 400 block of Duff Avenue. Kylie Kim Cates, 29, of Ames, was driving a 2020 Buick Enclave northbound when she struck Joshua Benjamin Kutcher, 47, of Ames. Authorities say Kutcher entered the travel lanes without using a crosswalk.
