JACKSON—The Topgolf developer broke ground on a new mixed-use building featuring more than 130 new apartment units in North Fondren on Thursday afternoon.
The Prado Lofts are a mixed use building that will feature 135 unit apartment complex set for Meadowbrook Road in Jackson next to the CVS. The building represents a $50 million investment into the Fondren neighborhood of Jackson by the PraCon Global Investment Group, the developer behind the Topgolf that opened in Ridgeland in 2024.
Work is set to officially begin on Prado Lofts on Friday, Jan. 16, Gabriel Prado, CEO and President of PraCon Global Investment Group, said. He said he would like to see the building completed in 13 months and be able to start taking leases as early as the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027…
