‘I didn’t think I would lose her like this’: Brother speaks out after Milwaukee mother of 5 killed in south side crash

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A 41-year-old Milwaukee mother was killed in a crash Tuesday night, Jan. 13, on the city’s south side after police say a speeding driver lost control and hit a tree.

Police say that Elaine Corbitt, 41, was a passenger in a car when the 60-year-old driver, traveling at excessive speed, lost control and struck a tree near 94th and Wilbur around 6:50 p.m.

Corbitt died at the scene…
