A Houston radio show that became part of many anglers’ early-morning routine is off the air.
Captain Mickey Eastman Sr. announced Jan. 6 that The Outdoors Show, a longtime fixture on 610 Sports that mixed live fishing reports with pro anglers and guides plus hunting talk and tips, has been canceled by Audacy after nearly two decades. Audacy did not respond to Chron’s request for comment by the time of publication.
“After a Monday morning meeting with my bosses, they informed me that due to budgetary reasons that corporate was taking the Outdoor show off the air,” Eastman wrote in a Facebook post. “I know this is quite a shock to all of you, mostly me. This is truly all I have been told.”…
