DA responds to community concern in viral Henderson animal abuse case

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Clark County’s top prosecutor is responding to what he calls an “overwhelming response” to an alleged case of animal abuse in Henderson.

The Clark County District Attorney’s Office released a statement on Wednesday responding to the emails, calls and messages in the case of Angel Ventura Ayala.

Henderson Police said Ayala, 27, was arrested last month for allegedly throwing a cat against a wall in a video that circulated on social media. The cat from the video was taken to an animal hospital to receive treatment…
