SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (WNYT) – The Schenectady librarian seen in a photo putting her foot down on a child has resigned.
The librarian, Maria Mawson, could be seen placing her foot on an 8-year-old child as the student laid on the ground. The student, whose name is Gian, has disabilities and was diagnosed with ADHD. The incident happened on Dec. 23.
His mother, Ashley Rivera, said the school district never contacted her that this happened…
