Clarksville Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspect in EZ Market Attempted Burglary

The Clarksville Police Department has reached out to the community, seeking assistance in identifying a suspect linked to an attempted burglary in December. According to a post from the department’s official social media, the incident occurred at the EZ Market on 1801 E. Boy Scout Road, a local business rattled by a break-in attempt in the early morning hours.

It was on December 1, 2025, when, at around 3:20 a.m., officers were summoned to an alarm sounding at the location. The store’s surveillance system recorded footage of a Black male, dressed in a black hoodie and red pants flanked by dark shoes, toting a black backpack—his demeanor shadowed by the telltale urgency of the act, as he wrestled with the door handle and leveraged a piece of wood in a failed attempt to pry his way into the store.
