Getting a little warmer before a wintry mix is possible for some

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The chill moderates some as we go into Friday afternoon and Saturday. It will get colder Sunday, but it probably won’t be soon enough to meet up with any moisture that moves over the area to produce much in the way of snow or wintry precipitation. The best chances of impacts would be farther east and southeast of our area.

After starting off near 20 degrees, it will be sunny, a bit breezy and warmer Friday. Highs climb into the mid 50s.

Clouds increase and some rain moves in late Friday night, first along the I-85 corridor after Midnight. Warmer with temperatures in the 40s. Rain pushes southeast late during the overnight and first thing Saturday morning…
