Mother, son caught on video in Las Vegas shootout that left two dead: police report

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A woman and her son were caught on video firing rounds in a Las Vegas shootout that left two people dead last month, according to a police report.

Marquita Wheeler, 42, and Tremaine Gentry, 18, were arrested in Fresno, California, on Dec. 29. They have since been extradited to Las Vegas and a criminal complaint has charged them with the murder of 37-year-old Donald Brown.

In a warrant for their arrests, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said they got several “ShotSpotter” notifications about a shooting in the 1800 block of Lewis Avenue the night of Dec. 22…
