Inmate facing additional charges after ‘suspicious substance’ found in Limestone County jail

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — An inmate inside the Limestone County Jail is facing additional charges after a “suspicious substance” was found inside the Limestone County Jail.

A Limestone County Corrections Officer found the substance after inmate Terrias Cain returned from an assignment through the free labor program. The substance was field tested and determined to be approximately two grams of Fentanyl.

As a result of the investigation, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit charged Cain with drug trafficking and promoting prison contraband…
