Roof of SUV ripped off during Jessamine County morning crash

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — The roof of a vehicle was ripped away during a crash on Thursday morning in Jessamine County.

The Jessamine County Fire District said around 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 15, first responders were dispatched to Clear Creek Road for a single-vehicle collision with injuries.

Authorities reported that a patient was trapped inside the vehicle. The SUV had slid off the roadway and hit a tree on the driver’s side.

The patient was extricated from the vehicle and was transported to UK Hospital by Jessamine County EMS…
