Beloved Lexington photographer Woody Phillips dies at 72

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Woody Phillips, a beloved photographer who spent 13 years capturing major events in Lexington, died Thursday. He was 72.

Phillips was one of Lexington’s most requested photographers at Tops In Lexington Magazine as well as a valued member of the Top staff.

“Woody loved this community and the community loved Woody,” said Keith Yarber, founder and CEO of Tops in Lexington Magazine.
