Waldorf, MD – Drivers traveling through Waldorf are facing significant traffic disruptions today after wires came down across Route 301 near Smallwood Drive, forcing lane closures in both directions and impacting nearby traffic signals.
According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, the wires are down across both northbound and southbound lanes of Route 301 in the Smallwood Drive area. Officers are currently working alongside SMECO, Maryland State Police, and the Maryland State Highway Administration to manage the scene and restore traffic flow as quickly as possible…
