DAVENPORT, Fla. – A trip to a local car wash ended in felony charges for a Celebration man on Tuesday, marking his 56th birthday with a trip to jail rather than a party.
Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jose Alfredo Velez on the afternoon of January 13 following reports of a disturbance at a business in Davenport.
Law enforcement arrived at the scene around 2:30 p.m. to speak with employees. Witnesses told deputies that Velez had been on the property arguing with other customers.
