Nebraska’s first district is expected to receive $2.9M in federal funds

LINCOLN, Neb – Nebraska organizations will be getting direct benefit from the latest round of federal appropriations.

U.S. Congressman Mike Flood’s Office announced that Nebraska’s first district will receive $2.9 million for infrastructure and public safety projects as part of a funding package that Congress passed last week.

Lincoln is getting a substantial amount of the funds, with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office getting $1.2 million for body cameras and Lincoln Police getting almost half a million for new police cruisers…
