After a “verbal conflict”, police say a school bus driver pulled over on the side of the road in New Orleans Wednesday morning and walked away. Newly obtained surveillance video shows six students were left alone on the bus for more than 20 minutes.
The video was shared with WWL Louisiana by a convenience store on Bullard Avenue near Interstate 10.
It shows the school bus pull over at 7:59 a.m. Wednesday morning. About three minutes later, the driver gets out, crosses Bullard Avenue, then starts walking toward the interstate. They are in frame for a few minutes before disappearing…
