Earlier this week, FOX 2 reported on applications filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including one for the name “Enchanted Parks St. Louis.” While the filings do not confirm any immediate changes, they have sparked speculation about possible rebranding efforts or even the sale of certain parks following the recent merger of Six Flags and Cedar Fair.
Six Flags St. Louis originally opened in 1971 as Six Flags over Mid-America and was renamed in 1996. Now, more than 50 years later, questions are emerging about whether another name change – or something more significant – could be on the horizon…
