Arrested Riverview mayor already facing slew of lawsuits before Thursday’s charges

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Prior to the arrest of Riverview Mayor Michael Cornell Jr. on Jan. 15, First Alert 4 was investigating various claims made against the mayor, including several lawsuits naming him and the local government.

These lawsuits claim instances of inappropriate touching, wrongful termination of employees, endangering first responder response times and questionable legal documents sent by local leaders…
