Fort Collins drivers should prepare for delays as the City Streets Department kicks off a series of repairs on South Lemay Avenue, starting from Jan. 19 through Jan. 23, according to a recent announcement. The stretch of road between East Horsetooth Road and East Harmony Road will see concrete repairs initially, which is to be the first step in a broader maintenance plan that encompasses utility fixes and asphalt milling, with paving set for later in the year. As a result, lane closures will be the norm during the entirety of the construction period.
Motorists navigating the area will need to look out for shifting traffic patterns, as the project is predicted to impact the usual flow of vehicles; despite the inconvenience, access to local businesses shall remain uninterrupted.
