January 15, 2026–At approximately 7:40 a.m. today, January 15, Weld County Regional Communications Center received a report of a vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident at the intersection of Third Street and Welker Avenue in Mead.
Mead Police officers responded to the scene and made contact with both the driver and the pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with possible broken bones. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
