EUGENE, Ore. – A father is taking action after a roadside memorial for his son was destroyed.
Steve Bounds rebuilt the tribute to his 13-year-old son, Easton, who died in a crash at the intersection of River Road and Beacon Drive in Eugene. Bounds originally set up the memorial with photos and mementos to honor Easton and to raise awareness about driving dangers.
“I just wanted everyone to know that my son was a bright light,” Bounds said. “He was a great kid. He thought the world of everybody, and he helped anyone that needed any help.”…
