SPOKANE, Wash. — Mercer Mass Timber LLC in Spokane Valley is planning a $30 million expansion in Spokane Valley, Washington, that is being aided by $250,000 grant from the state that will aid in engineering, permitting, and installing assembly line infrastructure at the secondary manufacturing space.
Washington Governor Bob Ferguson directed in October the release of funding from the Governor’s Economic Development Strategic Reserve Fund (SRF). The SRF award complements a $30 million private investment, expected to create approximately 50 new jobs at the 270,000-square-foot facility.
