ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Anchorage School District said any additional emergency school closures this year will have to be made up, a warning that now applies after the district canceled classes Friday because of hazardous weather conditions.
In a statement Thursday, district spokesperson Corey Young said ASD has used all of its allotted emergency closure days for the school year. As a result, any closure would require adjustments to the academic calendar.
