Driver hurt after hitting tree, overturning vehicle into swamp

EASTON, N.Y. (WNYT) – Police have released more details about a crash that happened Thursday in Washington County.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. on County Route 74 in Easton. State Police said the investigation determined that the vehicle was traveling south, when the driver left the lane and went onto the shoulder. It then struck a tree and overturned multiple times before landing in standing water.

The driver was taken to Saratoga Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
