ANN ARBOR, MI – A fire that spread from a microwave to the kitchen cabinets caused around $25,000 in damage to an Ann Arbor home.
Crews were called just before 5 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 14, to an appliance fire on Fawnmeadow Court, near Dhu Varren Road in Ann Arbor, according to a release from the Ann Arbor Fire Department. When crews arrived, they found a fire that had started in a microwave had spread to the surrounding cabinets.
