On Thursday, Jan.15, the City of Clarksville held a round table discussion on a proposed homeless shelter called The Well and its future operations being planned at the ministry located on Union Street. The purchase price of the property is $750,000, funded through CDBG entitlement funds, with $250,000 to be used for property improvements. Under an ordinance being considered by the Clarksville City Council, the city plans to own the property of The Well and have Urban Ministries operate it.
