NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio (WJW) – A North Royalton woman is celebrating after winning big from one of last month’s Powerball drawings.
According to Ohio Lottery, the woman decided to purchase two Powerball tickets for the $1.6 billion jackpot while shopping at the Giant Eagle at 6000 N. Royalton Road.
The next day, she checked the numbers before heading out of town for the holidays, lottery officials said. At the time, she thought she won $50,000.
