Bomberger Park fundraiser collects money to rebuild larger playground destroyed by arson

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — A neighborhood playground destroyed in a suspected arson last summer will soon be replaced all due from donations in the community.

Bomberger Park Playground opened in 2023 after a successful fundraiser from its community. It consists of two play structures, swings along with a fixed up park perimeter fence, trees, drinking fountain, soccer goals. A community center for everyone, but last summer the hard work in its larger playground structure for ages 5-12 was destroyed by fire.
