WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WFLA) — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is facing allegations of excessive force involving a Dec. 29 incident with a 15-year-old boy in Winter Haven.
Friday afternoon, students from Bibleway Royal Christian Academy lined the street outside a sheriff’s office substation wearing slings in solidarity with Damahri Lane.
