Driver walks away from Lancaster County crash that left SUV flipped, in pieces

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A driver was able to walk away from a wreck that left their SUV in pieces after it hit a tree and flipped into someone’s yard.

Lancaster Township Fire Department said it was called to the crash near the intersection of Brewster Drive and Hoover Road just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The fire department said the driver crashed after they experienced a mechanical failure. The driver had tried to regain control but overcorrected, causing the SUV to go through a fence and into a tree before it stopped just short of hitting a home…
