Temperatures will stay above freezing in the Valley for most of this event, so a chilly rain is expected. A mix of sleet and snow is possible along the TN/KY border. The change to sleet or snow will be dependent on just how fast temperatures fall through the night. Some patchy snow coatings are possible, but travel impacts look limited. The higher elevations of the mountains will be the favored spots to see some additional snow accumulation. 1″-2″+ will be possible. Lows Friday night will drop to the upper 20s/low 30s.
