Children’s Trust pulls program’s funding due to DJJ investigation

The Escambia Children’s Trust has suspended its contract and funding for the New World Believers because its H.O.O.P.S. program is under investigation by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.

Rodney Jones, executive director and a licensed mental health counselor with the program, was also suspended by the New World Believers organization because of a pending DJJ investigation, said Lindsey Cannon, Children’s Trust executive director.
