CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — The man suspected of committing the October 2025 bank robbery on Skidaway Island was indicted by a Chatham County jury Wednesday.
On Oct. 24, the Wells Fargo on Bank Street was robbed around 3 p.m., a Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) spokesperson told WSAV.
Around an hour after the bank was robbed, police officials announced that a person of interest, 36-year-old Sudre Lesperance, was taken into custody. He had $600 worth of $20 bills when he was arrested, court documents said…
