Filmmaker Ken Burns delves into American Revolution at Palm Beach talk

As the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday, award-winning filmmaker Ken Burns hopes Americans take a moment to reflect on the brave leap of uncertainty made by the country’s founders.

Speaking at Palm Beach’s Society of the Four Arts, Burns told the hundreds in attendance that people often take for granted the creation of the country, without recognizing the hard-fought battles and unpredictable circumstances the original 13 colonies faced.
