Cpl./1 Matthew T. “Ty” Snook was killed on Dec. 23, 2025, inside the Karen L. Johnson Division of Motor Vehicles facility at 2230 Hessler Boulevard in New Castle, police said.
Following a “thorough investigation,” detectives determined the shooting was intentional and aimed exclusively at police, identifying Rahman Rose as the suspect responsible for the murder, Delaware State Police said.
