Two suspects are in custody following an early morning armed robbery Friday in Fremont.
At about 4:42 a.m., the Fremont Dodge County Communications Center received a call from a resident near the 4000 block of North Somers Avenue. The caller said he has just been robbed by a male party who brandished a gun.
The victim advised that the suspect and another party involved had gotten into a small, black SUV and left the area westbound. A deputy observed a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle involved. After observing the vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign, the deputy initiated a traffic stop.
