Shoppers are being warned after a card skimming scheme lifted thousands of dollars from people’s accounts.
Authorities said nearly $10,000 in total was stolen, but added that the money is nonrefundable.
A total of $9,800 was stolen from 46 recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, county officials announced on January 12.
