The Lubbock Police Department bomb squad responded Friday afternoon to a report of a suspicious package at the Citizen Tower parking garage downtown.
Police officials had asked the public to avoid the parking garage in the 1300 Avenue K as the department’s bomb squad evaluated a suspicious package reported about 2:40 p.m.
