SANDY, Utah, Jan. 16, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Police in Sandy are reporting a 40-year-old man was critically injured Thursday night after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 1000 East 11000 South.
First responders were dispatched to the scene near Alta High School about 7 p.m. and transported the man to a nearby hospital.
