A multi-vehicle crash Friday afternoon has led to a lane closure on Interstate 459 in Jefferson County.
The crash occurred around 1:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, near the 27 mile marker. As a result, the northbound lanes of I-459 are currently blocked and will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are on the scene investigating the crash. Authorities say they will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available…
