of Columbia, S.C. recognized the last mystery photo: “It’s a signpost at Cape Spear, the easternmost point of North America, located near St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is the first place in America to see the sunrise each morning. The photo also shows the Cape Spear Lighthouse, which is the oldest surviving lighthouse in Newfoundland, built in 1836. The signpost indicates the distance in kilometers to various locations, including Reykjavik, New York, and Toronto.”
