Road closures scheduled ahead of MLK Parade in downtown Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — The Charleston Police Department has announced road closures ahead of the 54th annual MLK Parade on Monday.

The parade setup will begin near Burke High School at 6 a.m., closing Fishburne Street near Hagood Avenue early.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m., going east on Fishburne Street, north on Ashley Avenue, east on Sumter Street, south on King Street, east on Calhoun Street, ending on Calhoun Street near Elizabeth Street.
