Common Grounds Opens at Beavercreek High School

On January 12, Beavercreek High School had the grand opening of Common Grounds, a coffee stand for students to create the coffee of their choice. Located in the center of the cafeteria, the stand is open to all students in the morning before class starts, and it only costs two dollars for a cup. Mr. Scott, one of the assistant principals at Beavercreek and the head of this project, stated, “The idea emerged from a meeting between the Student Advisory Council and Mr. Ashley, the head of the Student Nutrition department. After brainstorming ways to get coffee and drinks from outside vendors, he decided that this was a project that he could do in house.
