Knox County man charged with statutory rape in Madisonville

MADISONVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A Knox County man has been indicted on at least one count of statutory rape by an authority figure in Monroe County after a four-month long investigation.

On Friday, the Madisonville Police Department released that detectives arrested Alvin Stacy, of Knox County, as the result of an investigation that began in August 2025.

According to the department, the investigation began after a victim who is a minor reported allegations of sexual misconduct involving an authority figure.

A grand jury indicted Stacy on January 7 on at least one count of statutory rape by an authority figure, Madisonville Police said.
