LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – The Chevy Chase Inn has reopened after plumbing problems closed the landmark bar for days.
The bar’s original cast iron plumbing did the job for almost a century, but time and a rose took their toll.
“It’s been quite the experience here at Chevy Chase Inn,” said Kevin Heathcoat, co-owner of the bar that bills itself as Lexington’s oldest. “The last couple of weeks we been having some plumbing issues and the old 90-year-old cast iron pipes out here have been giving us a lot of trouble.”…
