Saturday warm up

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – A very chilly day across the area, will turn into another cold night. We will see temperatures falling into the low 30s near the coast, with temperatures in the upper 20s to near 30 inland.

Saturday will be very different, we will see warm southwest winds kick in. That will bring much warmer temperatures to the area. Areas from the coast to the Pee Dee to the border belt will see high temperatures near 60 degrees. We will start to see some clouds move in towards the afternoon, and clouds thicken up overnight. Rain showers will be possible starting after midnight. Overnight lows will be falling into the upper 30s to low 40s.

On Sunday a cold front will be just off shore, this will help develop low pressure across the southeast. This will bring in a cold rain for most of the area. Since the cold air is lagging behind the front, it will be very hard to get any wintry precipitation along and east of Interstate 95. Areas to the west of Interstate 95 will have a chance to see some snow mixing with the rain, and potentially ending as all snow as the system moves away. Chances of seeing accumulation will be very low…
