Santa Rosa County picks ‘orange zone’ for new Soundside High School ahead of fall opening

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. — The Santa Rosa County school board has finalized the zoning for students at the new Soundside High School.

The board had three zones to choose from — each covering a different area. They picked the “orange zone,” which will accommodate 1,200 students, helping curb the overcrowding at Navarre and Gulf Breeze high schools.
