RALEIGH – This week, a federal judge sentenced a Mexican illegal alien to two years in federal prison for possession of a firearm by an illegal alien. On October 9, 2025, Angel Garcia Garcia pleaded guilty to the charges.
According to information presented in court, Garcia Garcia, 25, overstayed a work visa he received in 2020. From 2021 until his arrest, he illegally remained in the United States, living in Angier, NC.
Garcia Garcia illegally bought a high-capacity gun from another individual for $600. On June 14, 2025, Garcia Garcia loaded his high-capacity gun, put an extra bullet in his back pocket, and went to a bar.
