Three men killed in separate Pasco crashes

EAST PASCO — Three men died in separate crashes across eastern Pasco County on Jan. 14, marking one of the deadliest days on local roads in recent memory.

The Florida Highway Patrol said all three fatal incidents occurred within 14 hours.

The first crash happened around 5:55 a.m. when a 32-year-old Dade City man lost control of his Lexus sedan on River Road north of Sumner Lake Road. The car left the roadway and struck two trees and a fence, troopers said. The driver died at the scene. A passenger, a 22-year-old Dade City man, suffered minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital…
